Magic is considered the primal force of nature. It has been there since the beginning, and will be there in the end. Every living thing is touched by it, and in it's own way it affects every other living thing. From plants with magical properties, to the Great Spirits of Lore, magic simply IS. Anyone can learn to tap that power in a basic way, but for those who want to harness that power to it's utmost, they must learn to become a Mage. Mages are the beginning, not studying any one tradition or discipline specifically, but the sound base that will one day raise that person up to a greatness in wisdom and power.
