The spirit of War, and Death has also been described as part of his portfolio and sometimes he is claimed as being the Lord of the Human Spirits.  He is a warrior, in fact it is said he is the ultimate warrior, the first, the power and the key behind weapons and the ever flowing spirit of war. To summon Odin is to end a battle for the sweep of the Zantekzuken cannot be deflected, it cannot be dodged and it will end a battle that is in process, but only the master summoner can call upon the Lord of Battle to wield his sword for them. The Gungir lance whilst no less deadly will not end a battle as finally as the mighty sword of Odin but it is the more commonly seen attack, for those summoners who have been lucky enough to earn his minor pact he will send forth the Gungir Lance to smite their foes.

Lord Odin dwells within the realm of Valhalla, he is recognized as the commander of all the warrior spirits who dwell within his realm and the great keep. It is to him that Madeen, Gilgamesh and Cecil Harvey turn when there is need. To pact him one truly need only throw themselves into the battle of Valhalla valiantly, sometimes he may request they face a challenger in battle or seek out a specific monster or person on Terra and face them to earn his pact and favour.
