|When a strike is designed to break a strap on your armor, you learn to twist just enough to avoid it.  If an enemy goes for the chip in your blade, you know just when to slide up.  When you see the hammer going right for the one spot your helmet will split or fail at, you know how to tilt your head just right.  These practices along with regular upkeep means your armor and weapons will always be in their best condition, and never fall victim to an enemy who might sunder them.
