Guns are surprisingly sturdy things.  Sturdy enough that a properly trained gunslinger with fast enough hands can just pull the trigger and then slap the hammer back, giving a rapid sucession of shots.  'Fanning' was first developed not by Humes, but by Seeq bounty hunters trying to find a means to level the playing field with their quicker Bangaa cousins and Hume rivals.  Now many gunslingers adopt this technique for fast takedowns.

System: Usable only with a ranged weapon, and the player must declare whether to shoot up to three times at one target, or one time at three targets. Take up to 3 standard attacks in a single round. All successful attacks deal full damage, but the second shot is made at a -4 to-hit penalty, and the third at a -6. Every 8 ranks in this Ability lowers the penalty for both subsequent shots by 1, with -1, -3 at 24.
