Caltrops

Admittedly, not every Footpad likes to use these little beauties, but there's something to be said for carrying a little something extra just in case.  Not every smith will make these little babies, but the right ones know how to make them sharp and nasty, and able to go through even the best set of boots, or right into those tender spots on a chocobo's toes. 


System: MP Cost: 4 - Deploy an AoE: 1+Rank/24 Set of Caltrop that when anyone other than user steps into must resist against a Target # 25 Attack that does Rank Damage and then inflicts [Sap] Status while inside of the Caltrops.  Effect goes away when the area where Caltrops were deployed is exitted.  Caltrops will last 1+ Rank/8 Rounds.  Caltrops can be evaded with Dexterity+Athletics+(Any Applicable Ability).
