Once across the silver river from Alexander one finds themselves in a strange city that rings the island upon which Alexander sits in all directions. It is split into about thirteen different segments and each section seems to represent a different style of building, technology and people. From soaring towers of glass and metal reaching for the heavens to simply buildings of stone and wood or magical constructs of marble and crystal that defy gravity. It is in this land that the forgotten civilizations of creation come to rest, technologies that have fallen into the dark shadow of history are remembered.

Beyond the fantastical buildings it is the technology that resides here that makes this realm so brilliant to visit and yet deadly in its protections. The ability to spin crystal into vessels that can fly or create artificial life powered by controlled lightning would plunge terra into instability and chaos if they were to be permitted to run rampant across the world. Most of what is seen in this place is for just that seeing and marvelling at attempts to remove technology from this realm or learning too much how something works can easily result in the curious becomnig a permanent resident. The only known means of getting tech and knoledge out of this place is to bargain with Sister Ray or Famfrit and even then it is not new technology they give but a twist to an already existing design. Showing how to use a different material to make something more cost-effective or a slight change to how an engine is assembled to improve its efficiency. Useful yes but over-all harmless changes in the grand scheme of things.

In times of great danger or when the world is threatened it has been known for mortals to be granted the use of weapons or technology that can aid them against the dire perils they face but never the understanding on how to replicate it. Many people visit the realm to seek Famfrit for guidance on how to change their lives or the lives of their people. Others seek Sister Ray for her knowledge and caring attitude toward technology and those who embrace it as part of their lives. Finding either of them is no easy task but not one that is insurmountable, they could be found in part of the strange, alien, futuristic city but it is a simple case of walking and talking to people until they are tracked down. They are normally happy to see and speak to visitors and direct them to other minor spirits or residence who can help them with their queries and search for enlightenment.

That legend speaks of the mighty airships, Sky Warrior's, Dreadnought, Nautilus, Lunar Whale, Falcon, Highwind, Ragnarok, Invincible, Farenheit and Strahl. It says that the memory of these ships reside within the Lost City and should one prove worthy to Famfrit and the Sister Ray they will open the path that leads to these memories and should one pass the tests of the ship they will reveal the docking port of Ark itself.
